Delayed or canceled flight

  • You are entitled to € 600 compensation for a delay of more than 4 hours on flights of more than 3,500 kilometers.

You are entitled to compensation if:

  • Your flight arrived at its final destination more than three hours later
  • There is no 'extraordinary circumstance', this is a reason for delay that the airline has not been able to do anything about. Examples include: bad weather, a strike from air traffic control or a bird in the engine.
  • Your request was submitted within 18 months of the flight date.
